About Bansberia Sri Ramkrishna Vivekananda Ashram
A Spiritual Movement Dedicated to Truth, Service, and Universal Harmony
Our History
Bansberia Sri Ramkrishna Vivekananda Ashram is a spiritual and charitable institution located at Kundughat, Bansberia, in Hooghly district of West Bengal. Established in 2017, the Ashram is inspired by the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda. It aims to combine spiritual practice with social service, following the principle that service to humanity is service to God.
The Ashram works actively for the welfare of underprivileged communities. It organizes health check-up camps, awareness programs on hygiene and sanitation, and provides medical assistance to needy people. Special attention is given to education for children from poor and difficult backgrounds, including slum children and those affected by disasters. Through its Mission Education Centre, the Ashram supports young minds and helps them build a secure future.
During natural disasters and crises, the Ashram distributes food, clothes, and essential supplies to affected families. It also provides wheelchairs and blind sticks to differently-abled children, helping them lead more independent lives.
With dedication, compassion, and faith, Bansberia Sri Ramkrishna Vivekananda Ashram continues to serve society while spreading spiritual values and hope.
